A wildflower field close to the farm apiary provides a carpet of pollinating plants including clover and vetch throughout the summer months.
The farm also has a 12-acre wild woodland that extends to the estuary with English bluebells, wild cherry and flowering dogwood for the bees to pollinate.

I love the flavour of this honey as much as I liked the Batson creek one. I have just returned from ICF where I camped with family and friends in the field where some of the hives are placed. being able to see the bees makes it special, but we never go near the hives or disturb them in any way.
